It’s all around general purpose formulation makes it ideal for a wide range of applications including bonding plastics, metals and rubbers. Its surface insensitive formulation allows for bonding on rough, porous and acidic surfaces where other instant adhesives fall short. In addition to this, NEXTITE 501 offers excellent heat resistance, maintaining strong adhesion at temperatures up to 120°C. Perfect for both high strength bonding applications and any fast at home jobs or repairs.

NEXTITE 501 has a medium viscosity 90 – 110 CPS at 25°C which provides excellent control during application and ensures precise placement of adhesive. Unlike lower viscosity instant adhesives, it does not immediately run or spread out once applied, allowing the user more working control and reducing mess. NEXTITE 501 cures rapidly, achieving strong bonds on most substrates in approximately 15 seconds. It allows for 0.15 mm of gap filling and is very high strength on close fitting parts.

NEXTITE SP 901 Polyolefin Primer

NEXTITE SP 901 is a surface primer for making polyolefins and other low surface energy surfaces suitable for bonding with NEXTITE Instant Adhesives. It is suitable to prime the notoriously difficult to bond surfaces such as polyethylene, polypropylene and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). NEXTITE SP 901 works well with all of our cyanoacrylate adhesives especially the faster fixture time ones.

NEXTITE CA-1 Cyanoacrylate Activator

NEXTITE CA-1 can be used in conjunction with NEXTITE Cyanoacrylate Adhesives to promote a faster cure and to extend their gap-filling capabilities. Cyanoacrylate Adhesives naturally have limited gap-filling ability, but the use of an activator helps extend this capability by curing the adhesive almost instantly. Using a cyanoacrylate activator it also enables fillets of cured adhesive to be formed if required and can be used to reduce the effects of blooming, which can affect decorative surfaces. CA-1 is particularly effective when bonding porous materials, as the rapid curing prevents the adhesive from soaking in and ensures a stronger more reliable bond.

Applications and Uses

NEXTITE 501 has been designed as a surface insensitive instant adhesive. It is ideal for industries and tasks that require a general purpose adhesive with instant bond and high strength. It is also ideal for surfaces that have a rough, porous or acidic surface making this adhesive a true allrounder.

Tools and Accessories

The 20g and 50g bottles are specifically designed to work with a variety of nozzles and tips, so users can adapt the application method without the need to transfer the adhesive into another container. The nozzles come in a variety of internal diameters and lengths for all types of applications. They easily press-fit directly onto the tip of the instant adhesive bottle. The benefit of using alternative tips is that it gives users greater control, allowing only a precise amount of adhesive to be dispensed. They also extend the reach of the bottle, making it easier to apply adhesive accurately in tight spaces or detailed applications.

For NEXTITE 501, we recommend either the 0.6mm or 0.8mm tips or nozzles.

Technical Highlights

Feature

Specification

Instant Adhesive Type

Surface Insensitive

Colour

Clear / Transparent

Viscosity

70 to 110 CPS

Key Substrates

Metals, Plastics and Elastomers + Porous and Acidic Substrates

Maximum Gap Fill

0.15 mm

Shear Strength - Mild Steel (Grit Blasted)

21N/mm2

Fixture Time

5 to 25 sec

Temperature Resistance

120°C

Pack Sizes

25mL, 50g, 500g

Instructions for use

1. Ensure all bonding surfaces are clean and free of grease. It can also be applied in a traditional manner and due to its ultra low viscosity it cures virtually instantly, typically faster than NEXTITE 501. NEXTITE 506 achieves strong bonds on most substrates in approximately 15 seconds, making it ideal for high speed assembly. It is capable of gap filling up to 0.10 mm and delivers very high strength on close fitting parts where precise alignment is critical.

NEXTITE 506 has been designed as a surface insensitive instant adhesive. It is ideal for industries and tasks that require a general purpose adhesive with instant bond and high strength. It is also ideal for surfaces that have a rough, porous or acidic surface making this adhesive a true allrounder. It's ultra low viscosity allows for wicking into preassembled tight fitting parts.

Tools and Accessories

The 20g and 50g bottles are specifically designed to work with a variety of nozzles and tips, so users can adapt the application method without the need to transfer the adhesive into another container. Unlike welding, MMA adhesives do not create significant heat, which eliminates the risk of material distortion or burn through. They also allow dissimilar metals and substrates to be bonded to each other primerless. Stress is distributed evenly across the bonded area rather than concentrating it at a single point like a bolt or rivet. This results in stronger, more durable assemblies with improved vibration resistance, reduced corrosion risk and faster production times since no surface primers or complex mechanical preparation is required, can bond materials as received.

NEXTITE AB832 delivers rapid strength development at room temperature, along with excellent toughness, fatigue resistance, and long-term durability. Designed for reliable bonding of engineering plastics, metals, and composite materials, NEXTITE AB830 offers exceptional strength, toughness, fatigue and impact resistance.

With a fast working time of 4 to 6 minutes, this adhesive allows for efficient assembly without the need for extensive surface preparation or primers. It is particularly suited for bonding primerless to thermoplastics, powder-coated metals, raw metals, and composite assemblies where high strength and impact resistance are critical.

Using a primerless to metal MMA adhesive provides a fast and efficient alternative to traditional welding or mechanical fastening methods.

NEXTITE AB830 delivers rapid strength development at room temperature, along with excellent toughness, fatigue resistance, and long-term durability. Its non-sag, highly thixotropic formula makes it ideal for precise application, even on vertical surfaces. It also provides high gap filling capabilities of up to 9mm. This adhesive is the go-to solution for industrial manufacturing, transportation, marine, and general assembly where consistent performance and high fatigue resistance are required.

For production environments where a longer fixture time is critical, NEXTITE AB832 offers the same performance and material compatibility as NEXTITE AB830 but with a reduced working time of 11 to 13 minutes and a fixture time of 28 to 32 minutes.

For production environments where longer working times are critical, NEXTITE AB835 offers the same performance and material compatibility as NEXTITE AB832 but with an increased working time of 55 to 65 minutes and a fixture time of 100 to 120 minutes.

Applications and Uses

NEXTITE AB830 bonds to a variety of substrates without the need for primers they include but aren’t limited to:

Plastics: Acrylic (PMMA), Polycarbonate (PC), Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS), Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC)

Metals: Aluminium, Steel, Stainless Steel, Powder Coated Surfaces

Composites: Fibreglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP), Carbon Fibre (CF)

Other: Glass

NEXTITE AB830 will not adhere to plastics with a low surface energy such as Polypropylene (PP), Polyethylene (PE) or Polyolefins. NEXTITE AB8110 has been designed for structural bonding of galvanised metal assemblies primarily Hot Dipped G90 and G60. It is also an ideal adhesive for bonding polyamides (Nylon). Ideal for structural applications across multiple industries. Balanced thicker viscosity ensures smooth, precise application for diverse industrial bonding needs.

Product Overview

NEXTITE AB8110 is a high-performance, two-part methyl methacrylate (MMA) structural adhesive engineered for primerless adhesion to metals. Designed for reliable primerless bonding of metals including galvanised metals, engineering plastics including polyamides (nylon), and composite materials, NEXTITE AB8110 offers exceptional strength, toughness, fatigue and impact resistance.

With a medium working time of 10 to 12 minutes, this adhesive allows for efficient assembly without the need for extensive surface preparation or primers. It is particularly suited for bonding primerless to thermoplastics, galvanised metals, powder-coated metals, raw metals, and composite assemblies where high strength and impact resistance are critical.

Using a primerless to metal MMA adhesive provides a fast and efficient alternative to traditional welding or mechanical fastening methods.

NEXTITE AB8110 delivers rapid strength development at room temperature, along with excellent toughness, fatigue resistance, and long-term durability. Its non-sag, highly thixotropic formula makes it ideal for precise application, even on vertical surfaces. It also provides high gap filling capabilities of up to 8mm. This adhesive is the go-to solution for industrial manufacturing, transportation, marine, and general assembly where consistent performance and high fatigue resistance are required.

Applications and Uses

NEXTITE AB830 bonds to a variety of substrates without the need for primers they include but aren’t limited to:

Plastics: Acrylic (PMMA), Polycarbonate (PC), Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS), Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), Polyamide/ Nylons (PA), PBT

Metals: Aluminium, Galvanised Metals, Steel, Stainless Steel, Powder Coated Surfaces or E-Coated Metals

Composites: Fibreglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP), Carbon Fibre (CF)

Other: Glass

NEXTITE AB8110 will not adhere to plastics with a low surface energy such as Polypropylene (PP), Polyethylene (PE) or Polyolefins.
