Product Overview

Simplify the dispensing and mixing of two-component adhesives with our empty 400mL F-System 1:1 dual cartridge. Ideal for adhesives and resins that are supplied in bulk or separate containers rather than ready-to-use cartridges, it allows you to fill each chamber with the respective component and dispense them through a compatible static mixing nozzle.

Instead of manually measuring/ weighing/ dosing and hand mixing each component before application, the dual cartridge system delivers both components in a controlled 1:1 volume ratio, where they are mixed as they pass through the static mixer which allows for much more controlled application. This helps reduce manual handling, minimise mixing errors and achieves more consistent results.

Manufactured from polypropylene (PP), the cartridge features two separate 200mL chambers and is compatible with our dispensing guns and F-System static mixing nozzles.

Currently only 1:1 cartridges are stocked however 2:1, 4:1 and 10:1 Empty 50mL Cartridges are available on special order.
Cartridge is not supplied with static mixers, they are sold separately.

Instructions for use

  1.  Identify Part A and Part B: The cartridge is supplied empty, with the pistons not installed in position. Before filling, label each side of the cartridge as Part A and Part B to avoid mixing up the components if the cartridge is put down or moved during filling.
  2. Fill the Cartridge: Fill each chamber from the rear of the cartridge, ensuring the correct component is placed in each side. Fill both chambers evenly according to the required volume ratio. Avoid introducing excessive air bubbles during filling.
  3. Install the Pistons: Once both chambers are filled, carefully install the pistons into the rear of the cartridge. Ensure they are seated evenly and securely, once seated apply a small amount of pressure to the blue air relief valves they will pop into place. Your adhesive is now air tight and can be stored in this package.
  4. Prime the Cartridge: Before attaching the mixing nozzle for the first time, dispense a small amount of material from the cartridge to remove trapped air and ensure both components are flowing evenly. Continue dispensing until Part A and Part B are both flowing consistently. Wipe away any excess material before proceeding.
  5. Attach the Mixing Nozzle: Fit a compatible F-System static mixing nozzle to the front of the cartridge. The cartridge is now ready to be used with a compatible dispensing gun.
  6. Dispense: Dispense the adhesive through the static mixing nozzle. The two components will be delivered at a 1:1 ratio and mixed as they pass through the nozzle. Discard the initial material dispensed through the mixing nozzle to ensure the components are thoroughly mixed before application.
