Adhesives for Marine Applications

Marine environments are among the toughest in the world, which is why you need adhesives engineered to perform without compromise. Formulated to perform in harsh conditions our adhesives for marine use are resistant to salt water, UV exposure, temperature fluctuations, vibration and impact resistance ensuring consistent reliable performance long-term. We supply adhesives that bond to key substrates used in marine including metals, composites, thermoplastics and elastomers.

Using adhesives in place of mechanical fasteners can provide several advantages including distributing stress evenly across the bond line compared to having stress points at fixings, assemblies become lighter and more compact designs can be achieved as well as being more visually appealing. Whether used in new vessel construction, aftermarket components or repair work NEXTITE Adhesives provide dependable performance where strength, longevity and environmental resistance are critical.
