NEXTITE UV415 is a medium viscosity high-performance, UV-curing adhesive engineered for precision bonding of glass, metal, and select plastics. It offers rapid curing, exceptional clarity, and high bond strength, making it ideal for applications where appearance, durability, and reliability are critical.
Product Overview
NEXTITE UV415 is a medium-viscosity photo-curing adhesive engineered for precision bonding of glass-to-glass and glass-to-metal assemblies. It cures rapidly when exposed to ultraviolet light 365nm or visible light 436nm, forming clear, tough bonds that resist shock and thermal cycling.
Its excellent permeability allows it to flow easily into small gaps through capillary effect, making it suitable for both edge and surface bonding. Once cured, the adhesive maintains transparency, withstands environmental exposure, and delivers long-term durability without yellowing or brittleness.
NEXTITE UV415 performs reliably across a wide range of materials, including glass, metals and select plastics. Its medium viscosity gives it a balance of flow and control, making it ideal for architectural glasswork, display assemblies, lighting components, and more.
With a long shelf life of 18 months from the lot date, it remains stable and ready for use in demanding production environments.
NEXTITE UV415 should be dispensed using UV Safe Applicators to protect from light exposure. Surface preparation is essential, and excess uncured adhesive can be removed with organic solvents or isopropyl alcohol. Cure times will vary depending on lamp output, gap size, and material light transmittance.
Always test before full-scale use.
Choosing Between UV Glass Glue Viscosities
NEXTITE UV411 – Low Viscosity 45 – 65 (CPS@25℃). Used for joints that require a capillary effect to join but do not require any gap filling. Perfect for Glass to Glass Edge Bonding.
NEXTITE UV415 – Medium Viscosity 800 – 1300 (CPS@25℃). Very versatile has ability to capillary effect into joint and also can be used in both edge and surface bonding of glass and metals.
NEXTITE UV419 – High Viscosity 4400 – 6800 (CPS@25℃). Can be used for face to face joining also be applied on the joint then pressed together. Has good gap filling capacity and hardly runs due to the viscosity. UV419 is designed with high viscosity for face-to-face bonding or T-type bonding of glass, metal, and most plastics
Applications and Uses
These adhesives are widely used in Glass Fabrication Worldwide. They are used to produce flawless display boxes for museums and shopping centres, bonding decorative items like displays and awards, point of sale items and many other glass fabrication jobs that require perfect joints.
If you see a perfect joint that is bubble free with no crazing its highly likely that it was made with our UV Adhesives.

Suitable Torch
Our UV Glues and many other brands of UV Glues require a 365nm Frequency to cure the UV Glue. If this frequency is not focused on 365nm it will only skin the top few layers of the glue, making it seem like it is set but in reality, it has not been fully cured and will likely fall apart when put under tension.
The difference lies in the LEDs, Japanese and some Korean Made LEDs are focused to be at 365nm and are 1% at most away from 365nm. Which is approximately a +- 4nm range. The average peak of the frequency is at 365nm. This is a reliable torch as you know for certain the frequency is always at 365nm.
Whereas the cheap alternatives use cheap Chinese LEDs which have a stated frequency of 365nm but are on a wider spectrum of light. Which are approximately 28% away from the stated amount. The peaks are generally around 395nm-425nm. These LEDs are unreliable and will not properly cure most UV Glues on the market.
We have two options available on the market. A UV Rechargeable Torch Kit for one smaller jobs and a custom UV Curing System for larger and more frequent jobs. Both of these UV Lights are 365nm spec perfect for our UV Glues and other types of UV Adhesives on the market too.
Uv safe bottles
It is important to use applicator bottles that are UV safe. Our 50mL and 100mL UV Applicator bottles are suitable. This is crucial as it protects the adhesive from light exposure. We are in the process of producing a UV Safe Bottle with Lure Cap Attachment for even more precise application.
Technical Highlights
Instructions for use
1. For best performance bond surfaces should be clean and free from grease. Simple solvent wipe is generally sufficient. We recommend the following products for cleaning – NEXTITE PROPREP and ACRI-BOND CLEANER (for delicate substrates).
2. The product should be dispensed from a suitable applicator, it is recommended to just apply from the applicator provided as it is a UV Safe Bottle, dispensing into another applicator that isn’t, may cause the adhesive to prematurely activate.
3. Cure rate is dependent on various factors such as lamp intensity, distance from light source, depth of cure needed or bond line gap and light transmittance of the substrate through which the radiation must pass. Test before use.
4. Excess uncured adhesive can be wiped away with isopropyl alcohol.
5. Bonds should be allowed to cool before subjecting to any service loads.
Please check the TDS for material suitability and strength of each bond. For a tutorial how to use please refer to our YouTube Chanel.
Shelf Life, Storage and Pack Size
NEXTITE UV415 has an 18 Month Shelf Life Minimum when stored correctly.
Store in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight, an enclosed cabinet is recommended, to extend the shelf life of this product. Keep the open container tightly closed do not leave open.
